Exterior
The Equinox is a small SUV with a sleek, modern appearance and standard exterior features like 19-inch aluminum wheels, deep-tinted rear glass, and LED lighting. Solar-glazing glass provides some relief from excess sunlight, while the deep-tinted rear windows increase privacy for your passengers. The RS Equinox EV trim comes with an AutoSense power liftgate that can open on its own when your key fob is within three feet of the rear bumper.
Seating
Standard seating in the Equinox EV consists of a 6-way manual driver seat, a 4-way manual front passenger seat, and a 60/40 split rear bench. The RS trim has an 8-way power driver seat and a 6-way manual front passenger seat. These seats are made with cloth seat trim in the LT model and smooth Evotex seat trim in the RS model.
Cabin
Inside the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV, there’s a front center console that has built-in USB charging ports, cupholders, and a storage space for small items. The adaptive cruise control feature lets you relax behind the wheel by maintaining a pre-selected distance between your SUV and the vehicle in front of you. With the myChevrolet app, you can use Remote Start to turn your engine on and off before entering your vehicle.
Technology
The Equinox EV comes with a 17.7-inch LCD infotainment system that includes Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone connectivity, SiriusXM satellite radio, and Google built-in compatibility. If you install Google built-in, you can use features like Google Play, Assistant, and Gmail directly in your cabin!
The new Equinox EV also has 5G Wi-Fi hotspot capability that allows you to use the internet within fifty feet of your SUV. This hotspot works on as many as ten devices, including laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
Safety
There are two important safety packages in the new Equinox EV: Chevy Safety Assist and OnStar Basics. Chevy Safety Assist uses driver-assistance features like Forward Collision Alert, Following Distance Indicator, and Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning to reduce your risk of collisions. OnStar Basics contains resources like remote commands and built-in voice assistance to give you more peace of mind on the road.
Performance
The Equinox EV is powered by an electric propulsion system that offers an EPA-estimated range of 319 miles on a full charge. This SUV comes with an onboard charging module that can reach Level 2 charge rates of 11.5 kW.
